Description
Driftworks CS2 BMW E46 CS2 Series Coilovers
BMW E46 Digressive True Rear Coilovers For Track and Drift
Driftworks CS2 Coilovers For the BMW E46 M3 and non-M3 models – This is a true rear full coilover suspension kit with digressive Monotube dampers. Developed by Driftworks using our own cars and extensive knowledge of the BMW E46 chassis over the past 20 years of building Trackday and Drift Car E46 and E46 M3’s .
KIT FEATURES:
- New for 2024 the E46 CS2 kit uses the most advanced digressive MonoTube damper technology available to us. It uses slimmer springs for better wheel clearance, and includes rear helper springs to maximise use of the long stroke rear dampers.
- Spring Rates: Available as a Default kit for maximum compliance, a Track Pack perfect for more serious track day or competition use and a Drift version that uses a lower rear spring rate for improved traction when drifting
- 16 way adjustable Digressive Monotube dampers – Digressive dampers have firmer initial damping at lower damper speeds than a traditional linear damping curve damper. This provides better stability and steering feel / response. Then when a more significant high-speed demand is made on the damper (eg clipping curbing on a race track) the damping curve allows the damper to absorb these bigger impacts and keep the car more settled.
- Inverted front Macpherson dampers with super low friction coating
- Camber adjustable pillowball offset front top mounts and roller bearing top spring cups
- Pillowball rear top mounts
- Shorter drop links included.
