AIRTEC’s Stage 2 intercooler kit for the MK8 ST200 is suitable for track or fast road use.
To prevent any loss in performance during prolonged hard driving, AIRTEC has developed a larger, freer-flowing intercooler that directly replaces the smaller, restrictive OEM unit.
Positioned between their Stage 1 and Stage 3 options, this mid-range intercooler has been engineered to maximise performance within the tight space behind the bumper. The redesigned core is significantly taller, providing a substantial increase in overall capacity and a much larger frontal surface area to make the most of available airflow.
Combined with our high-flow, moulded one-piece cast end tanks, airflow is directed smoothly and efficiently through the system, resulting in far greater cooling efficiency and improved charge temperatures compared to the standard intercooler.
Finished in a high-quality powder-coated black, the intercooler is a direct-fit replacement, utilising the factory boost pipes and clips for straightforward installation. The kit includes all required fixtures, fittings and detailed instructions, ensuring an easy upgrade with maximum performance gains.
