With limited space available behind the Focus’s front bumper, AIRTEC’s solution is based on a stepped-core design to maximise the usable area. The core steps from 85mm to 35mm, providing a huge increase in overall capacity compared to the factory intercooler, as well as a significant increase in frontal area to make the most of available airflow.
Featuring high-flow, one-piece cast end tanks with an internal air diverter for optimum efficiency, this intercooler delivers exceptional cooling performance and consistency. Despite the substantial size increase, it fits neatly behind the original bumper with only minor trimming required, and can be reverted to standard if needed. The comprehensive kit includes billet mounting brackets, all fixtures and fittings, and step-by-step fitting instructions for a straightforward installation.
